Synopsis

Note: this issue is told as a flashback. Superman is angry with what Wonder Woman has done but before they can continue arguing, they are called all over the world to deal with crises here and there. She finally gets the chance to return to the Embassy to find Ferdinand unconscious. Jonah McCarthy has made a run for it and Wonder Woman searches for clues in his room. She finds a contact and tracks him, discovering that he has been working for Maxwell Lord all along. She eventually finds McCarthy and tells her that for killing Lord, major consequences will follow. The public may have understood the killing of Medusa, a human with ferocious snakes as her hair, but Lord, a human being? She finishes recounting the events that happened to Batman, but he is still angry with Wonder Woman and...
